Tasting Notes: A mild/medium body, with refreshing citrus undertones. It finishes with a delightful grape note, complemented by a sweet, nutty malt flavour and a hint of chocolate.
The process: The decaf beans are decaffeinated by the mountain Water process. The process is highly complex. Green beans are immersed in water saturated with flavour compounds of coffee. As osmosis occurs, the only property that leaves the beans is caffeine. The essential flavour elements in the beans stay there, balanced by the water already containing the flavour elements. The beans are then dried, analysed and cupped. We roast the means for a mild/medium body.
